ABOUT SANDRA

I am British born but have lived, trained and worked in California for many years. I have also lived in Italy. Currently in practice in Santa Barbara, California, I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology (with an emphasis on depth psychology) from Pacifica Graduate Institute here in Santa Barbara.

I am licensed by the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I also have six years post graduate training in the analyst training program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and have been in private practice for over thirty years. I am also an experienced SoulCollage Facilitator and have run insight and creativity groups for over ten years. I have many years experience working online in TeleHealth with clients around the world but also see a few clients in person at my office here in Santa Barbara. I work specifically with individuals and have a special interest in a depth, analytical approach and creative expression. I work with many people in the arts. This includes working with the experience of depression, trauma, loss and issues related to the aging process.

A core part of my work as a Jungian Psychotherapist has been my own analysis and deep dive into my own psyche. As with many therapists, the archetype of The Wounded Healer is central. My personal way of engaging the psyche is with collage and ceramic imagery.
